Daesorin Profile Picture

Daesorin

Linux system administrator, infrastructure tinkerer, and advocate for digital commons.

Background

I hold a B.Sc in Zoology, providing a strong analytical foundation in complex systems. I have since transferred this systems-level thinking to digital infrastructure, accumulating one year of practical experience configuring, securing, and managing Arch and Ubuntu environments. I am currently preparing for the CompTIA Linux+ certification to formalise my technical capabilities.

Professional Objective

I am actively seeking roles in system administration and infrastructure management. I aim to contribute to projects that prioritise community ownership, data sovereignty, and open-source principles. Building resilient, self-hosted environments is essential hardware and software work to counter extractive technology monopolies and imperialist data practices.

Current Focus

My daily technical operations involve managing rootful Podman containers via Quadlet, securing digital assets with Vaultwarden, and designing structured, automated documentation environments. Outside of administration, I engage with political philosophy, poetry, and structured graphic design series.
